Theft Description

I left my bike chained with a u bar outside 53 Gordon square, just near russel square, to buy some water. It’s a student area and I made sure to chain it properly as there were many bikes there, I knew it’d probably be a hotspot for theft. I returned to the area I left my bike in but was sorely confused as I couldn’t see it, for a further ten minutes I walked up and down trying to find it and found my front wheel hanging on with the Ubar. I immediately knew it had been stolen and called 101, checked with security in 53 Gordon square and even asked around the local parks/bus stops to see if anyone had seen someone walk away with a front wheeless bike! I’d only had it 6 weeks and didn’t make note of the number/get insurance, I’m new to bike riding and got it as a gift so truly ignorant to any of this! Apologies, Rose.
