Bike DescriptionNot quite off-the-shelf, lots of small non-stock parts which would uniquely identify the bike. **Only one of the pics is of my actual bike, I barely have any so the others show the type of frame and the saddle as they're quite distinctive** 2008 Specialized Tri-cross comp frame Compact double with 11-32T cassette. 700x28C Shwalbe Marathon Plus tyres, Shimano wheelset (can't remember what) Cinelli drop bars, yellow bar tape, yellow stem (Amoeba, cast alloy) Shimano sora 3300 STI shifters 8 speed Cosine endurance saddle, black w/ white diagonal stripe Cantilever brakes, connected via a straddle cable and saddle clamp *Shimano Acera RD - I think. Recently swapped it out and can't 100% remember
Theft DescriptionBike was stored (unlocked....) in the sheds behind my workplace, based on the University of Edinburgh Easter Bush Campus. My bike and a couple of others from nearby businesses were taken around 4pm by a group of youngsters seen walking around the local area, witnessed by colleagues and CCTV. Last seen heading towards the Bush estate/Gowkley moss roundabout.
Recovery DescriptionPolice Scotland recovered the bike, it was found by one of the officers in Hollyrood park, Edinburgh, about 7 miles from where it was stolen. The officer found it by chance, and recognised the bike from the detailed description! My sincerest thanks
