Bike Description

My bike was stolen at about 3.00 pm Thursday 28th March 2019, from the entrance doorway to Sainsbury’s off Llanthony Rd, Gloucester
I walked to the Police Station at Bearlands Station to make a report and was given incident number INC 309 28/03/19.  The Police will check CCTV with the store.  In essence, I stopped very briefly to buy a drink, enough time for onlookers to notice me and call me when a person made off with my bike seconds later.  I could only have been out of eyeshot for a minute and gave chase with 2 others - in vain.
The bike is a black Road Rat hybrid.  It was made circa 2012 worth about £500 then.
Features:  handle bars have raised rubber ends.  Black metal mud guards.  24 gears, disc brakes.  Black gel saddle.  Aluminium section under handle bars to raise their height.  Black pannier support fixed to rear seat mount, with grey/silver 3 zip section bag fixed to it.
Pannier bag contains about 10 Naked bars, cycle toolkit, 2 spare inner tubes, cycle hat, 2 pairs sunglasses, sun cream, bike pump, car keys VW.  Elastic & clear plastic arm case for mobile phone (empty).  Grey/silver Specialized Cycle helmet & yellow high viz gloves were hung over handle bars.
