Bike Description
Vintage circa 1978, ladies town bike. I had just put brand new white walled tyres on it, it had a functioning Dynamo that powered a back light, had a panier frame/luggage rack on the back. Was rusty orange metallic in colour, and the age of the bike contrasted the new tyres. One of the images is before I completed work on the bike (I.e. New tyres and a clean up) and the one with me on it is after.Theft Description
my bike was chained up with a combination lock in the carpark at Woolmanhill student flats in Aberdeen. The next morning it was gone. I really don't know why anyone would steal this bike as they only sell for about £50. The new tyres cost about £40 and that's pretty much the only monetary value of the bike. However it had great sentimental value to our family as it was a gift to my mum when she was at uni in Dundee in 1978, and has been in the family since. If I got this bike back I would be overjoyed, it really is not worth anything to anyone else other than my family!
