Bike Description

XL planet X XLS frame, original wheels, Prologo Kappa saddle, Easton EC90 handlebars with Hope bar ends (right hand bar end glued on because bar damaged (picture is of a drop handlebar version of the same bike)

Theft Description

Bike was locked in the bicycle park in the middle of Holborn, outside Chancery Lane tube station. It just disappeared, lock and all - decent cable lock, serious cutting equipment required??

Recovery Description

Great work by Met. Police!! Although it took a couple of weeks before I could retrieve my bike, they apprehended the thief with it within half an hour of it being nicked. A simple case of a vigilant officer seeing a known criminal with a bike that was "far too nice". Bike is back with me, completely unharmed. Result!! I am a lucky boy and I now own a MUCH bigger lock.
