Bike Description

Silver women's step through frame, aluminium. Silver seat post, handlebars and front and rear metal mudguards. Older Marin frame style where top and bottom tubes aren't round in cross-section but polygonal - looking at photos it looks like a "Larkspur" model, but I'm not certain.   V-brakes, 3 ring front gearing, 7 or 8 speed rear gearing (?). When stolen had handlebar mounted bell and black electrical tape wound round the bars where the front light would mount. Seat post had suspension, Fox saddle. Stock black plastic pedals, black plastic chain guard on front ring.   Don't have my own photos, but like these I found: with mudguards, like the outdoor (photo 2); but with suspension seat post like the indoor (photo 1).   Edit: found a partial photo I had - (photo 3) is of actual bike in background. Complete silver colour of frame, mudguards, front fork, seatpost, handlebars and stem, and cranks seems to be distinct from a lot of other Marins.

Theft Description

Bike was in shared stairwell of tenement with 4 others, forgot to relock when brought home from a service. Presumably a neighbour left the front door unlocked at some point during the day as the door was latched at night. No other bikes were locked, and no other bikes were taken, mine was 2nd in the stack so thief moved one to get to it, noticed in the afternoon as the bike on top was left out in the passage. No-one had noticed the top bike moved until the afternoon so believe theft occurred during the day.
