Bike Description
2013 model year Lapierre R 700 mountain bike purchased new from Leisure Lakes Cheltenham.The bike has been serviced by The Bike Project in Gloucester and carries their sticker on the down tube.Shimano accessories ,hydraulic breaks and double chainwheel.Bike in exceptional condition since it had had very little use.
Theft Description
Bike was stolen from a store which required a code to enter and was further secured by two locks in a metal cage.The thief or thieves have known the code to the store and have entered the building without forcing the door.They have used a jemmy bar and bolt croppers to very crudely break in to the cage that contained the bike. I last saw the bike at 4.30pm on Monday 4th January and discovered the theft at 10.30am on Tuesday 5th January 2021.I reported the incident straightaway to the police.I understand that other bikes were stolen in the same raid including a nearly new Trek Sport road bike.
