I set up eBay alerts for the make and style. I eventually saw it although the racks, and many nice fittings had been removed. But I recognized the pedals I had put on. I asked the seller if it had any frame numbers under the bottom bracket to confirm its size before going to look at it. The number is unique and proved it was my bike. I informed the police who went to recover it for me once I had shown proof of purchase and got an e-mail from the shop confirming frame no and from manufacturer again confirming frame no was unique to the bike.
