Bike Description
Genesis Equilibrium 20 with shinano 105 group set and Mavic Kysrium wheels. Identifying features are some black electrical tape wrapped around the front forks. It has clipless pedals for SPD shoes. There's black Fizik bar tape on the handle bars, a Selle Italia Flite saddle and a slightly scuffed black seatpost.Theft Description
I had popped into the Dalston Junction branch of Leylands decoratoring supplies on the morning of 9th October and brought my bike into the shop as I was only in for a minute and unfortunately forgotten my lock. I took my bike right inside the shop and went to the counter to pay for an item. When I turned round the bike had gone. The manager checked the CCTV which showed a customer in the shop clearly jumping on my bike and riding away with it. The police are aware of it and have told me they're going to look at the CCTV footage Obviously not massively happy about this and any help recovering it would be greatly appreciated. A member of the public found the frame of my bike in an alleyway and thought it looked suspicious so looked it up on Stolen Bikes and hey presto, returned to me! Although it’s not the complete bike it’s the part with the most character and I can now get to work building it up again like new. Thanks so much Stolen Bikes UK, it means so much to me.
