Bike Description

The bike is a very distinctive bright metallic blue hardtail mountain bike with Gary Fisher written on the frame, bought in October 2007 for £700 and the only original part is the frame - the rest is personalised/upgraded. Make model: Gary Fisher Hoo E Koo Colour: Blue Frame size: 19 inch, wheel size 26 inch, 3x8 speed shimano gearing. Frame number: WTU049Si1113C (have attached a photo of the receipt where this was written a little unclearly - it may be WTU0495illl3C). Distinct features:
-eXotic carbon front rigid forks
-shimano XT brake levers
-Avid BB7 front & back disc (cable pull) brake calipers
-black carbon riser handlebars
-26" shimano wheels (black with distinct white patterning and Shimano Deore hubs), and chunky Michelin "mountain dry" tires
-brown-gold DMR (non-quick release) seatpost clamp/bolt
-Nukeproof headset spacers
-black (but well scratched/worn) DMR V12 flat pedals
-Shimano Deore M590 chainset
-Deda RSx02 seatpost (black with red/white graphics)
-I am pretty sure the rear derailleur was Shimano Alivio.
-FSA headset and Hollowtech II SHimano bottom bracket
-Comfortable black/blue gel saddle
There is a difference to the photo below in that I have since replaced the handlbar grips with Easton black lock-on grips.
Also on the bike was a Cateye Volt 800 light, blue rear light, a front frame bag containing my Saltbutamol inhaler, and on the stem was a mount for my GPS cycle computer. Bolted to the upright tube on the frame was a grey/black bracket for a Hamax child seat.I would be very very pleased if this is found, this was not insured so I have no claim, lesson learnt :-(, I use it to get to work most days and have almost 12yrs of great memories including rides with my kids

Theft Description

The theft happened sometime in the early hours of Friday morning (03/05/2019). My bike was locked behind a bolted padlocked back gate (I always put it in my shed except on this one occassion as I was expecting to leave for work early!). The thief must have climbed over the gate or fence and they then unscrewed the bolt to get out. There are 3 motion activated security lights between the front of house and by the back where the bike was taken. The thief committed this crime in a small window of time with the bike well out of site of the road.
