Bike Description
This is a classic frame red Evans bicycle. It has a red frame with "Evans" written in black on the frame. The bike is single speed but a a distinctive feature is that it has a derailer (which most single speed bikes don't have). It has straight handlebars (silver) with black grips and a red bell. My bicycle was stolen in the car park behind my apartment building in Notting Hill. This is a gated car park, but the suspect looks to have come into the property via the gate leading to the adjoining property. I arrived home on Tuesday 16th at 8pm and usually lock my bike to a chain on the wall. However, my lock was jammed and I needed to go upstairs and put some WD40 in it to loosen it up. Unfortunately, I forgot to go back down and when I got down at 8am in the morning the bike was gone. However, the thief was caught on CCTV and I have footage and some stills to provide as evidence. It seems that the thief walked into the car park and had a look around to see if any of the cars were open (tried to open doors, etc.). He then saw that my bike was unlocked and took it.
