Bike Description
The brand of this racing bike is MERCKX, mainly white, with Campagnolo Veloce and Centaur gears, in full carbon ie very light material, with a little yellow flag on the saddle, little race computer AND is was locked safely in bright day light across from the entrance to both ShangriLa hotel as well as the Shard, with lots of security people, camera CCTV and lots of people walking by all the time. We found the broken lock next to the bike of my wife. Both bikes were chained to each other, as were our two helmets, both stolen as well, worth each about 90 pounds. Does this mean there were at least two thiefs, as it is hard to ride the bike holding at least one helmet in your hand? One helmet was black, grey &red, the other, belonging to my wife, was white&black. See pict attached.
