Bike Description
'Ultra-light urban bike bursting with state-of-the-art high-end components', bought in 2016 for £1200. It's a relatively unusual bike due to having a Gates drive belt instaed of a chain and a Shimano Alfine 11-speed hub gear instead of a derailleur. I replaced the original Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with Clarkes equivalents. It's upgraded with: toe clips & straps; four lights (2 back, 2 front); Mirrycle bar-end mirror; Pedalpro mudguards; Tortec Ultralite pannier rack; Ergon GP1 grips and; smartphone mount. It's well used but in good condition and was stolen at around 5pm on Monday 13th December 2021 from a bike rack outside of the the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh.Theft Description
It was padlocked around 4.25 pm with a Kryptonite cable lock to a bike stand outside the Royal Commonwealth Pool. Around 5.30 pm it was gone, leaving a bike helmet and a neatly severed padlock cable. There are CCTV cameras at the site but the records from these can only be accessed by police request.
