Bike Description
Front tire brand was Schwalbe, inner tube valve was short and Schrader type. Rear tire brand was Continental, inner tube valve was long and Presta type. The seat was brand new, but not original.Theft Description
My bike was stolen on the 16th of September, 2022. I locked my bike to the cycle racks just opposite to Chef Lu's Chinese Restaurant (Huby Court, Walmgate, York YO1 9UD) around 19:00. However, when I came back to take my bike at around 23:30, rather than my bike, I found another bike without any lock. On the ground, I found the broken lock of my bike and a Headphone Jack Adapter for the iPhone. The other bike was completely free of lock, and I decided to take this bike to prevent another thief. Then, after I crossed the Walmgate and Foss Island Road through traffic lights, two little boys, who were aged 15-17, ran towards me, and started to blame me to steal the other bike that I found there. They initially claimed that the bike was their bike, and wanted to take the other bike from me, but I didn't give them as I didn't trust them. I try to explain the situation to them, but they kept blaming me for the theft. When I said I will call the police, they changed their statements, and they said the bike did not originally belong to them, and moved away quickly. My stolen bike's brand is Cross Malvern Hybrid Bike; however, I don't know any frame number for my bike. I shared two photos of my bike in the attachments. The other bike's brand is Koga Supermetro. It is still with me, and I will also share photos of the other bike.
