Bike Description
Claud Butler Cape Wrath Mountain Bike Stolen from Slough, the High Street near Boots Pharmacy at about 15:30 on Thursday 03/12/2015. The details of the bike are as follows:
Frame: Frame Number: 332750, Silver in colour with black name & model on the frame, a Canterbury Cycles sticker on the front side of the seat post. Red reflective tape stuck on the seat post & seat post stays, very difficult to remove this tape. There is also a Tag on the seat post, Heathrow Cycle Hub 004461.
Forks: Silver Marzocchi Bomber forks, X Fly 2003 model, markings on the forks in grey lettering, white reflective tape stuck on the crown of the forks, very difficult to remove this tape.
Post Modern suspension seat post with a Selle Itlalia Team Top flite Saddle, red & black in colour.
Wheels: Hope hoops wheels, Hope hubs, black spokes & Mavic 721 rims, black in colour with silver name stickers on the rims. Red valve caps. Specialized Hemisphere Armadillo Tyres on, 26x1.95 size.
Drive mechanism: 27 Speed gearing, Shimano 5 spoke XT Crank, Sram Chain & Sram 9 speed cassette. Shimano XT front & rear Derailleurs. Shimano XT Touring pedals, two sided, SPD on one side & Flat on the other side.
Brakes: Formula MD1 Mechanical disk brakes.
Handlebars: Zoom handlebars with Zoom head stem.
Mud Guards: Front is a Top Peak Defender M1, raised high & fixed to the forks by one mounting bolt. The rear mud guard is a Crud Catcher, mounted to seat post.
Various Cateye, Hope & garmin mountings on the handle bars, seat post & saddle.
Theft Description
The bike was securely locked up in the bike racks on the corner of Park Street & High Street Slough, at 15;00, on return to the bike rack at 15;30 my bike was missing, including the lock. I contacted the police immediately to report the theft.
