Theft Description
Left my bike in the hall whilst I ran down the the basement to deliver a mobile phone. Someone on Soho Street must have held open the self closing/locking door and waited 5/10 seconds until I was around the corner then took the bike. I was gone less than one minute.Recovery Description
I found my bike for sale on Gumtree. I got in touch with the seller and as it turns out she bought it from a market stall in Hertfordshire for £400 for her Father, but it didn't fit him and so she uploaded it for sale on Gumtree for £500. I emailed her all details about the bike including the frame serial number and she acepted that it was mine - I negotiated a price of £300 and collected my bike from her Father. I built the bike for £1,700 - so to have my bike returned the price was fine.
