Bike Description

This Challenge Fujin SL was made to order in the Netherlands. Production runs are low. The company probably makes under 50 of these on a good year. They make other models too but this bike is one of their lightest and fastest models. The thief would be able to carry it off easily at around 10kg. It is missing the seat pad. Is fitted with Terracycle chain idlers from http://www.laid-back-bikes.co.uk/. The crankset is a 155 triple - also unusual.

This bike had been hired out for a couple of days and was stolen on the second evening at a campsite. Contrary to what people might thing low racers are quite easy to ride with the rider being able to stop with hand on ground (handstand). one shot shows just how low this bike is in comparison with a more standard bike.

In nine years in business I have only sold four Fujin SLs so not too many here.
