Theft Description

Bike was taken at registration for Wiggle Steeple Chase Sportive at Huntingdon race course. Probably a targeted theft by organised gang rather than fellow yclists. I was literally 10ft away getting number fixed, looked away for two minutes and it was gone. There were approximately 1,000 cyclists taking part so surrounded by bikes and cyclists. Description of thief is male, approximately 50 years old, black, dressed in black cycle jersey, shorts and helmet but wearing black trainers rather than clip shoes. Bike was cycled out of racecourse to nearby roundabout and then loaded in a van and driven north on A1M through villages of Sawtry and Glatton. Thieves must have discovered my phone in saddle bag then and dumped phone in rubbish bin. I am devastated as was my dream bike treat after nasty crash last month. I'll be paying for it for next two years. ;-(
