Bike Description
Vulcan E Spec, many different than standard parts fitted so here we go. XLC integrated rubberised bull horn grips, SKS Beavertail mudguards with a standard downtube guard as additional protection. RRP flex front mudguard fixed to fork arch. Pletscher 2bolt kickstand, Topeak quick slide system disc pannier, Schwalbe Marathon plus tyres where I’ve converted the rear wheel to tubeless (presta type valve still) and the front wheel has a green valve on a slime inner tube. 27.5” wheels. SRAM DB1 hydraulics fitted, laziness dictated that I hadn’t trimmed the front hose yet so I looped it in place and tied it in with the rest of the cables at the front of the bike, very distinctive and not easily changed. Saddle basic elastomer sprung, plain black and is actually the saddle from my old Coyote Connect. Garmin Edge GPS was on it, probably easiest thing to remove and sell separately.. Bottle cage was fitted via two straps on the top tube due to the battery position, these things mark the frame where the nuts sit, so there will be distinct markings on the top tube, roughly bottle bolt spacing apart. Magnet underneath the saddle, serial number on the back of the SR SUNTOUR screen has a 30 in the sequence, remembered due to it being a special number to me.. Moon rear small strip light, Bikehut 1600 main front light on an out front mount with a Cateye 200 and Lezyne 400XL as backup. Probably removed. 2 Lizard Skins neoprene guards, 1 red chainstay guard and a steerer tube bottom bearing guard which is black. The torque sensor on the chainset back only has two of the three screws required to secure it to the back plate. This is due to the torque sensor awaiting replacement, so I’d only fixed it back on with two screws. Barrel number of my key for the battery lock is H325, although I’m unsure if it’s displayed on the bike. The steerer tube has a “heads-up” extender to heighten the stem, and the handlebar is a custom sweep back angle so will seem a bit more curved back than a usual flat bar. Big Magnum black and yellow 10mm chain lock on there although I’m certain it could be removed by simply taking off the seat post so probably not on there still. Only place I never locked it- right at my front door. That’ll teach me. Batttery only had 13% in it when it got pinched so they’ll need a charger.Theft Description
Stolen right at my front door, two floors up in a secure entry close in the middle of the very late morning/early afternoon.
