The bike was stolen behind my office building on the Friday afternoon. I had a look online and found there's a CCTV camera (A33 Charlotte Place West) that captures the front of the environment centre building, behind which my bike was stolen. I was informed  however  that footage is not recorded on that camera. There was also a camera owned by the student housing next door but they were unwilling to share that footage and the police officers were not willing to investigate further

The bike was purchased for £820. The locks and pocket tools that were stolen alongside were purchased at the same time for £46.

It was my first week cycling to work.
