Stolen when locked from bike rack outside the Forum at 2 Millennium Plain NR21BH, sometime between 09:00 and 18:00 on 1st May. Broad daylight in a public place but CCTV pointing the opposite direction!!Recovery Description
Bike stolen and sold on to a guy who realised something was dodgy, so he checked stolen-bike website and confirmed it was hot property. Then his friend intervened and got in touch with me to return the bike and collect the reward. Always photo your bike with its accessories on and also photo the frame number and serial numbers under the bottom bracket. Can get the frame marked by the police as well for further identification. My advice if your bike is stolen - offer a reward if the bike means anything to you - mine did. Report it to the police (get a crime number) and insurance company (if covered - it should be if you like it). If the bike is recovered, get as much info from the returner about how they found it and any details of the thieves who sold it on. Report these to the police for investigation. Tell the insurance company you got it back.
