Lefty fork - only one brake cable guide (and that was with a bodge gaffer tape repair). New Maxxis High Roller on rear. Front tyre Hans Danff (I think) - neither are the stock tyres (Nobby Nics) Scratched on down tube (left side facing forward on bike). Heli-tape and electrical tape on frame Ergon grips with bar ends.Theft Description
Stolen from outbuilding. Targetted theft - the thief took only this Cannondale and a Giant Reign, leaving other value items.Recovery Description
Walkers reported seeing the bike (and the other stolen bike that was taken at the same time) abandoned in woods about 10 miles from my home. They reported these to the police as they thought the bikes looked expensive. The police recovered the bikes and returned them to me. Providing the police, and Stolen Bikes, with lots of detail helped. I am so grateful to the walkers who reported the bikes - gives you faith that there are good people about.
