Bike Description

Black and white road bike. Heavy branding on seat, on the frame and the forks. There is a clear silver scratching on the handlebars, where the handlebars intersect the frame and this can easily be identified on close inspection. There is a black bell attached to the handlebars and a light which has three different settings. There is also a light with three different settings below the seat. Note that these lights have elastic straps and can be easily removed. There are scuffs and scratches on the gear at the back tyre. The front and back tyre valves bear different colours. The back is red and the front is black. There is a screw and rubber section missing from the pedals where the screw on pedal straps were forcibly removed (as I struggled to remove this with ease when I bought the bike on 4 July 2016). I did not remove the warning sticker on the forks of the front wheel. If it has not been removed, the sticker is covering the 'c' in Cannondale. Please see attached pictures.

Theft Description

The incident occurred in the afternoon at around 3pm with several witnesses. Bike was unlocked outside the storm in a tea cup boutique on 366 kingsland road E8 4DA. I placed it against a bench and shielded by a boris bike, as I was only popping into the store (yep no excuse!). I was constantly looking at the bike as I positioned it to have sight from shop. In a split second I saw the bike wasn't there.  This took place in the space of a minute on my entry into the shop.

I ran out of the shop to find what looked like a teenager cycling off. The thief was make no older than 16. I have supplied the police with a full description. I ran after the little shit down Middleton road which is the first right after storm in a tea cup but I was unable to catch him. As I was in pursuit I was speaking to the police. Despite these efforts unable to track him down.
