Bike Description
58inch Cannondale CAAD X with full Shimano 105 groupset and disc brakes. Blue bottle holders and a quadlock mount on the handlebar stem. Distinctive wear on the left handside rear forks from being mounted incorrectly to a bike rack. Road tyres instead of gravel tyres which it came with. Was stolen in Limehouse on the 8th Feb in the early morning on the canal towpath E14 7QB under 2 CCTV cameras, locked with a gold standard D lock.Theft Description
Bike was locked to railings outside a narrowboat that I was staying in that night. There are 2 very visibile CCTV cameras overlooking the railings at very close proximity. Using an ABUS gold standard D Lock through rear wheel, frame and into the railings. I wrongly assumed that it would require an angle grinder or similar to get through the lock and I was sleeping next to it that would wake me up. No sign of lock or bike the next morning. Only police allowed to view the CCTV footage according to building concierge, have reported and supplied information.
