Bike Description
Model Triban 500, XL size from Decathlon. It has a pannier rack model Tortec Tour, color black and with two plastics still there on the left part, where the instructions where attached.
The bike is black with two white bands and two red. It has a bell also. The right pedal has a loose toe clip , because I lost one of the two screws and the one on the left is not the original. The back tyre has a puncture repair. The left strip on the left handlebar is starting to come off, a few centimeters.
Theft Description
My bike was stolen during the night of the 16th of August, it was in the common area inside our building, where we only have two neighbours and it is not possible to enter into the building at night.
The night before, 15th of August, I left the bike in the space between the fire door and my main door, where there is a window but it is very difficult to see the bike from outside. Usually I leave the bike in my garden or inside the house, but I forgot to do it that night, and I left the bike there, thinking that was safe enough because during the night anybody can´t enter into the building.
On the morning of the 16th of August, I was about to leave my house at 9:00 am, I opened the door and I didn´t see my bike that was there the night before. The fire door was open, held by a metal piece of a lighter and a man pretending to be an electrician was sitting on the floor with a small computer and white cables in front of the socket next to the main door of the building. After a few seconds he asked me what happened and I told him that my bike had been stolen. He told me to call the police, he also told me that he had been there for about 20 minutes and he didn´t see anything or anybody. My girlfriend and her sister were inside the house but they went outside when I realized that my bike was gone. They also saw the man there.
