Bike Description

The bike's main features are: a dark shiny blue frame, a blue metal water bottle holder between the wheels, Boardman written on the frame between the wheels in white capital letters, rear and front black mudguards, a flat grey seat, a few scratches but not many (it's still a reasonably new bike - I only bought it in summer 2020), a few fluorescent yellow stripes on some parts of the frame (mainly near the handlebars), a rear red light and a front white light, a black/dark grey chain, black pedals, black handlebars, black cogs on the wheels, a black holder for my bike lock on the part of the frame closest to the back wheel (behind the water bottle holder), grey hydraulic brakes on front and back wheel, silver trim on the front and back wheel and front suspension.

Theft Description

After arriving home close to midnight on Wednesday the 8th December, I locked my bike up in the back garden of my home in Leeds with the big metal lock I normally used to use. I went upstairs and fell asleep quickly, not having heard or seen anything suspicious. I slept right through the night, not once awoken by anything, and after going downstairs the next morning (on the day on the 9th of December) at around 9.30am, I was shocked to see that the bike had vanished from the garden. The only thing that remained was the metal lock, which was lying on the floor and with a huge split in it. I can only assume that whoever stole my bike had used some kind of tool to just cut straight through it, which can't have been easy because of the lock's thickness, so I'm surprised that neither me or any of my housemates heard nothing at any point throughout the night. I've reported the crime to the police but have heard nothing since.
