Bike Description
The bike was brand new - two weeks old, used twice for two very short trips. So it was shiny, unscratched and clean. It had two black metal mudguards fitted as extras, and it had the housing for a battered black D-lock clamped to the frame below the saddle (although this could easily be removed).Theft Description
The bike was stolen from my front garden, where it was tethered to a ground lock. The thieves used bolt-cutters to remove it. My neighbour witnessed the thieves checking the bike out before returning with the cutters, and described them as "a couple of chivvy-looking guys".
