Bike Description

Black aluminium bike with white saddle and red saddle bag. Shimano gear set; carbon fibre forks; 26" Ambrosio wheels and gatorskin tyres. Two black water bottle cages

Theft Description

I cycled into Colchester town centre arriving at 1.15pm and locked my Bianchi bicycle up at the bike racks outside Metro Bank in the High Street. I then walked to the Curzon cinema to see a film returning at 4.50pm to find that the bike and the lock had been stolen.

Recovery Description

I was contacted by someone via Facebook who had been given the bike by a garage as a courtesy vehicle whilst his car was being serviced. He contacted the Police who took possession of the bike and returned it to me. A great and surprising result.
