Bike Description

Medium size frame 2018 Giant Fathom 2 mountain bike with 27.5 inch wheels and disk brakes front and rear. Pedals are flat Boardman with silver studs. Has a dropper seat post. There is slight scraping on the orange writing on the rear rim. Bar ends are missing. Front disk brake is noisy when applied. Maxxis tyres.

Theft Description

The bike was stolen out front of Natwest Bank on Poole High Street from the bike racks. 2 friend's mountain bikes were locked each side of the bike but accidentally the cables did not go through the frame of the newer and more expensive Giant.

Recovery Description

Friends of my son spotted someone riding the bike in Hamworthy and approached him. He handed over the bike and we collected it. Person claims he bought the bike and gave name and phone number which has been handed over to the police
