Bike Description

Heavily modified old frame Rockhopper stolen from Shepperton on early hours 04/03/2018 along with 2 other bikes. Whilst the bike itself is so unique as to be unsaleable the parts might not (though hard to use as they are unusual formats fittings). Parts listed below:

This was an early model rockhopper dating to the 90's, hard tail (no rear suspension). 21" frame

1. Sun Ringle Black Flag Pro Wheels (front had very unusual 20mm front thru axle - very rare to see this)

2. Maxxis Downhill - tubeless tyres. Both tyres were flat and need more notubes in.

3. Front disc brake rotor was Shimano and unusually large at 200mm.

4. Rear chain stays had rim-brake supports ground off and resprayed rear tubes black.

5. Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear were non spec Shimano XT (Deore) hydraulic

6. Deraileurs were Shimano SLX - non spec for this bike.

7. Oversized Rock Shox revelation front forks with large travel (150mm), lockout and rebound

8. Big studded alloy pedals (black) Wellgo CNC Platform B54.

9. 9 Speed bike (old fashioned) - 27 gears total

10 Quick release chain

11. Unusual 'Crank brothers' grips on handle bars (locked on with metal clamps/allen key bolts)

Theft Description

Bike stolen from back garden shed via entry over Littleton recreation ground. Perps cut through barbed wire, scaled wall and entered through back of shed. Removed this + 2 others and then threw them over the park wall. Only 1 of 3 bikes could be ridden (2 might be locked together still) - would need a car or van to transport or 3 individuals to carry away.
