Bike Description
Hello. I bought this red/maroon XL Giant Seek 1 in Australia after slogging away in a galley at sea for months, cycled across Oz, brought it back to Edinburgh... only for it to be nicked by some (organised) chavs outside the Portobello Baths on Friday 13th at 7pm. It's a huge bike, with a squishy ladies' seat, rack on the back maybe still with Topeak paniers and 4 spacers on the headset for a more upright position, as well as a black bell on right of handlebar and a bracket for a basket and map. There's also a wee headless toy hanging of a blue string. 27 gears, hydrolic disc brakes, (front brakes in need of new pads) I'd be grateful if anyone sees it to let me know! Police have them on cctv, they nicked a few bikes in one swoop and 2 have been recovered. Back tyre is a new Specialized Nimbus Armadillo, front tyre a well used Maxxis Detonator, 2 water bottle holders and a couple of brackets for a d-lock and hand pump. Easily covered 15-20 miles a day on it getting to work and college and various other commitments, I'm at a loss! Cheers
