Stolen Carrera bicycles Subway Limited Edition

Bike Description

Photos of the bike is how it appears today. (Obviously not with the set of paddles) - Green Carrera logo and part of top tube on black frame. - No Suspension. - White wheels. - Schwalbe marathon plus tires - plenty of cuts in the tires from glass and the like. - Mechanical disc brakes. - 7 speed cassette, 3 front rings - White saddle that is slightly dyed blue from jeans and ripped at the front and back. - Alivio rear dérailleur. - Wilko 3 LED lights - front and back. - Black metal pedals. - Very worn white and black handle bar grips. - Brake levers and rapid fire gear shifters combo. - Halfords rear wheel mud guard that is attached via the seat post. - Cateye Velo 7/8/9 cycling computer - the display still works but it can't detect the rotation of the wheels anymore. - Silver metal bottle holder that is attached to the seat tube - Attachment for the D-lock on the seat tube. - Attachment for a bicycle pump on the top tube that is secured with thick white cable ties. - Layers of masking tape on the top tube where it meets the heatset and on the mud guard where it attaches to the the seat post. - Small white round sticker on the front of the headseat with a set of black sunglasses. - A lot of nuts and bolts are rusted. The bike is very scuffed with various scrapes and knocks all over the frame. The gears don't shift properly, the breaks squeal, and the wheels are pretty buckled. It's quite an awful bike to look at and to ride but i enjoyed it because i made the assumption that it wouldn't be worth stealing because of how little people would be willing to purchase it.  It was a great commuting bike to the shops and in to the city centre. I don't think the bike is worth more than £10-20 because of it's state and it was only £220 new 6 years ago but i'm willing to reward someone with £40. As i appreciate getting the bike back.

Theft Description

The bike was stolen on the street of St Michaels Lane, Burley, Leeds (LS4), adjacent to Stanmore Street between 2:15pm and 3pm on the 21/03/16. It was secured to a lamp post with a D lock and cable lock. I visited a friend who lived on Stanmore street. We had the window open but didn't hear a sound that alerted us of the incident.
