Thief climbed into back garden from adjoining property (over high stone wall & through shrubs) and broke garage back window enough to get hand in to unlatch, climbed in through window, then unlocked (Everest) garage door from inside and removed the bike. Two less expensive (hybrid) bikes were left. The Stumpjumper had its front wheel removed to get it into a car boot, so he must have taken the bike and wheel and carried it, or assembled it to ride off. The bike belongs to Vicki Barclay to keep in training when she visits "home" to the UK (from her home in PA, USA).
