Bike Description
Hybrid bike with (almost) straight bars, silver in colour. No suspension, hydraulic disc brakes. Frame number OBS/FS 5041752, a size medium frame indicated by a 'M' marked on the frame just above the bottom bracket.- Handles are not original they have a large, padded ergonomic shape and bar ends.
- Pedals are not original, they are a set of unusual Shimano PD-T400 CLICK'R clip-in pedals with reflectors.
- Instead of the original Whyte black, triple panel design the saddle is a dark brown 'snakeskin' one from a previous bike.
- The rear tyre is Schwalbe Marathon Plus with a reflective strip all around.
- There are a number of grooves worn into the rubber protectors on the 'shoulder' of the front forks on each side. These were caused by stiff replacement brake cables cutting into the rubber and my solution was to use a cable tie to hold the cables closer to the frame towards the front. This black cable tie can be clearly seen in the photos the thief has posted on gumtree.
- It used to have a front mudguard but looking at the photos on gumtree this has been removed by the thief. The unusual crosshead bolt that I cut to size and used to mount the mudguard can still be seen in the front fork.
- It also had a horn and lights mounted on the handlebars and a rear rack, all of which have also been removed after it was stolen, but the thief has left part of the horn button on the bars and there's probably marks or other evidence that the rest used to be fitted.

Theft Description
Stolen in Romiley, Stockport on the night of Thursday 11th April. The following day, Friday 12th April, it was listed on gumtree for sale in Hyde, a town located between Stockport and Ashton-under-Lyne near Manchester. The bike has a a lot of unique features as per the description.
