Bike Description
The bike is a hybrid bike with a 22-inch frame but looks bigger than that as the wheelbase is longer than most bikes, because it has a rack at the back. I replace the peddles which are bright silver/chrome. The left crank arm was replaced 2 weeks ago and is a different shade of silver compared to the right. The handlebar has new ergonomic grips (Ergon GP1), the bike got blown over by the wind a few times so the grip on the left has a damaged end cap. I replaced the rear wheel recently to a silver one while the front is Viking branded. The rear tire has also been changed within the last 3 months to a "Schwalbe Marathon Plus Bike Tyre". The front wheel is the stock tier with some small cracks around the side walls. There is also a plastic water bottle holder on the frame, not shown in the picture.
The most obvious upgrades I made in the last 3 months are:
1. New rear wheel in all silver while the front was branded with Viking.
2. New rear tire Schwalbe Marathon Plus Bike Tyre
3. New bike peddles: "Kartell ® Universal Bicycle Pedal Set with Slide Bearing Technology for City Bike, Trekking Bike, Touring and E-Bike, Silver/Black"
4. New grips: "Ergon GP1 Standard Handlebar Large Grips"
Theft Description
The bike was taken from back garden between 12 and 6 am on the 09/09/2021. It was kept under a rain cover, and we have a gated lane at the back. The lane is usually locked but on this occasion I can't be sure. I live in the middle of the block so someone must have known the bike was in the garden under the cover or when through each garden to see what they can take.
