Recovery Description

I phoned the police, sent the picture I had to them, an officer was called and saw the photo, her colleague recognised the bike from a pair they had seized a couple of weeks ago (the same time it was stolen). They had caught the thieves red handed and with mine and another bike owner's statements and visual confirmation of our property, the thieves can be charged with the theft. The thieves were a male and a female, apprehended further down my street at about 6am on 26/04/2020 - reports from neighbours put my bike approx stolen at 3am ish that same morning. It's thought they were riding the bikes. Someone else had called the police to report two people acting suspiciously, when the police arrived, these two matched description and the bikes were seized as suspected stolen. I'm very grateful I had that good photo of my bike and I've taken an up to date one just in case!
