The criminals broke into a secured locked and gared fenced in courtyard. Clipping barbed wire and dismantled the front gate lock. The scooter was chained inside the courtyard with tarp over it. This chain was cut. Appears they may have attempted to lift over brick wall then dismantled the gate lock from inside.Recovery Description
After placing many adds on facebook , facebay And excellent sites such as this quickly allowed me to get the word out quickly with over 300+ shares. On the third day my moped was spotted on a selling site shpock. I was given a tip off and it led to do my own investigating after not having any luck with local authorities. So a friend and I literally went looking for the house that it was being held, confronted the crooks mother as she answered the door and said we were taking back my property... luckily at this very time 2 officers were across the road dealing with another issue, I called them over for assistance and they intervened allowing me to get my moped back.. Literally these thieves are scum and have no respect for anything. The person in question will be prosecuted. Hopefully it will keep him off the streets to save others the heart ache.
