I left the bike locked in a bike rack on the corner of Cowley road and Stockmore St., in front of Rick's dinner cafe. I stayed inside the cafe between 15:00 and 18:30, and noticed that my bike was not there anymore. The bikes nearby were on the floor, perhaps signaling the use of force to take my bike. I found my backlight on the street, but not my lock or any other item.Recovery Description
I randomly found the guy with my bike!!! it was two days after the event, and happened in a very crowded area of the same city, Oxford. I confronted the guy, kept my hand on the handle bar and told him that it was my bike. He said that he bought it, then I offered him to go with the police in order to clarify it, which fortunately was only few block away. He didn’t want to go, and was trying to take me to a less public street, so I started shouting POLICE! and pulling the guy towards the avenue to stop a police car. when the police was about to come, the guy and all his friend just ran away.
