Bike Description
My bike is a full suspension Trek Fuel Ex8 – Size 17.5 / 18.5
The frame is black with white decals.
It is 27.5 inch wheel size (650B).
It’s fitted with a set of white FOX Evolution Series front forks.
It has a FOX rear shock.
It has Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brakes.
It has a Bontrager wheelset with Duster hubs.
It has a black Gobi Tailflex saddle with black Bontrager quick release seat post clamp.
It is running a pair of tubeless MAXXIS High Roller II tyres – rear tyre is quite worn and has 3, or maybe even 4, tubeless puncture repair plugs in it!!
Not that you’d necessarily spot, but it has only just had new bottom bracket and pads fitted on the rear disc brake.
It has a set of wide Bontrager bars with black grips.
It has a Bontrager handlebar stem with red anodised stem stackers.
It has silver coloured aluminium DMR flat pedals.
It may still have a Crud Catched fitted on the downtube.
Theft Description
Sometime overnight on Monday 25th March into Tuesday 26th, someone tried to force a back door, and then eventually forced a UPVC window on the back of my garage. They climbed in, and unbolted and opened the mortice locked front doors from the inside. They took two bicycles, one of which has since been recovered after being found abandoned and my Trek Fuel which is still missing.
