Bike was parked outside Houndshill shopping centre in the centre of Blackpool. It was chained to a lamppost with a very thick cable lock. The thief rode up to my bike on a very old racing bike which he left at the scene. He used bolt croppers to break the lock. This happened in the middle of the day in a very busy area of Blackpool, full of shoppers. The thief left a bag of new needles and alcohol swabs at the scene so I assume he is a drug user. He was described by witnesses as 25-30, with ginger/blond hair.
