Bike Description
Carbon series trek road bike, frame is about 20yo, front of seat has fabric that is peeling off. Front tire missing as I was stupid enough to attach it only there. Tire bearings are hex and tires are brand new (changed them the day before!) arisun allure 700 RB2 Defence. It has a bike register ref number on it: 0102700537.Theft Description
Happened inside the closed courtyard of the Queem Mary Bio Innovation Center. Left the bike on thursday morning and it was gone when I came back on friday night. A passerby informed me that the theft had happened last night as the front tire (only locked it there as I thought the place to be somewhat safe) was already there that morning. EDIT: The guy that stole it, Eveson Merius, was caught but the bike never recovered and I still have to get any payment back from him (he was sentenced about a year ago). At least I am happy to see that the police took the case seriously and managed to find the guy based on some security camera footage, so there's some hope afterall!
