Bike Description

Black and white Trek 1.5 men's 54cm road bike, 2008 model. Bontrager wheels, seatpost, seat. The bearings on the right-hand pedal seemed to be starting to go, such that it clicked a little on downward strokes. When stolen had black grip-tape with silver stoppers, one of which was missing (left I think); a small shiny black bell, and small LED lights; mount for a Kryptonite New York lock on the seat tube; a large silver Cycle Surgery sticker near the front gears, though presumably most thieves would strip all this.  The photos aren't mine, but closely resemble it.

Theft Description

The bike was locked up in the covered racks at the side of Brighton station, next to the enclosed keycard-only bike store. It was locked with a Kryptonite New York lock securing the seat tube, back wheel and helmet to the rack. Upon my return there was no sign of it—no broken lock, nothing.
