Bike Description
Black front and rear mudguards, front mudguard was loose and held together with a zip tie. Black skinny pannier rack, quite unusual as very slim and fitted to the seat post unlike a regular pannier rack. Saddle was a Specialized Vita, had a small nick/tear on the left hand side on wider part of saddle. Blue bottle cage, complete with yellow bottle. Pedals half and half Shimano SPDs - silver. Flat on one size, clips on the other.Theft Description
Stolen from outside the CodeBase entrance on Castle Terrace in broad daylight. Taken from the bike rack next to the steps that head down to King Stables Road. I didn't see the theft, just arrived to see no bike.Recovery Description
Incredibly, a prospective buyer suspected this bike to be stolen and checked this website to see if it was listed. When they saw the bike listed, they then called the police, who apprehended the seller and recovered the bike. Amazing outcome, thanks so much for this site!!!
