Bike Description

Stolen from Stow on 27th August 2016 with two other bikes, a Specialised S-Hadrock M4 mountain Bike and a Norco Six Two.

Specialized S-Works M5, size 17

This is very "unique" bike. This was a one-off build from an M5 frame by the factory as a road champion’s training bike. It is a special, light, M5 frame.

The paintwork is a matt black, thin paint, not enamel, to save weight. The "Specialised", "S-Works" and M5 decals were painted on and had worn badly as had the paint. I had tried to reinstate the White paint for the writing and frankly made a hash of it. So lumps of thicker paint can be seen in the wrong places. S-Works decal covered by tape in one picture.

3 gears on front, 8 or 9 on rear. XTR gear.

Fox forks

Carbon handlebars, S-works, slight rise. Bell.

Thomson seat post, angled back.

Blue seat post clamp by Hope

Specialised seat, leather

Wellgo pedals.

Small plastic light bracket on handlebar and seat post.

Avid 5 brakes.

3 gears on front, 8 or 9 on rear.

Specialized tyres
