Bike Description

The top tube and the stem of the bike is wrapped in rock tape, its a sport tape so its like fabric tape. It is bright yellow with medium sized hazard symbols on it. Similar to a biohazard warning sign. There is more tape, black and yellow on the top tube covering the brand name. Same on the down tube.

On the saddle post there are lines scratched onto them as hight markers from the time when I shared the bike with my father. They are usually hidden and can only be seen if the saddle is loosened and lifted.

The cassette is new (June) so is the chain as well as the break cables which all together is worth of 65 pounds. With that I mean that the chainring is worn and chipped. While the cassette and chain is new so making it look at bit more unique.

The mud guard is long and black made from plastic, it is taped on quite desperately with several layers of black (electrical?) tape. It hangs and swings a bit since it is loose and has taken a few hits.

The bike was cleaned a month ago, so the layer of grime and mess is fresh. The bike looks pretty clean.

On the handlebars the soft sponge like wrapping is slowly coming off. I taped it up with more of the black (electrical) tape. Also the white stopper at the end of the handlebar covering the hole on the right handlebar is loose and sometimes wriggles a bit loose, its firm enough to pop back in. But is easy to pop off with any kind of blade, screw driver. Key maybe.

Theft Description

I went to The Minors Arm in St.Werburghs at ca 21:40 and stayed there till 24:00 when I discovered that the bike was missing. It was locked to a railing that separates the grass from the pavement just off the corner of the pub. It was locked through the wheels and the frame onto the railing with a coded lock. It is fairly dark where the bike was, but people where about all night.
