Bike Description

A truly unique bike, one that I built from mostly spare parts. Saracen X3 hybrid frame, custom built with drop handlebars. Forks don't match the frame, I put steel forks with brake mounts on. Shimano Tiagra gears, Shimano Sora Flightdeck integrated brake lever/gear shifters. Missing front mech at the time of the theft. Black handlebar tape. Frame built for disc brakes but I installed Dia Compe long drop caliper (no quick release) brakes on. Wheels were Alexrims but I don't know what model.

Theft Description

One of two bikes stolen from my stair while I was having dinner just metres away. Bikes were locked up with a heavy duty lock which was cut. 3 men, 2 on bikes were spotted heading towards Haymarket shortly after 7pm.
