Description

Make: Rory O'Brien
Colour: red - slightly discoloured and rustly in places. The decals are faint and worn on the front and seat post tube, but the decals on the side in white block are still in tact.
Type: Steel Frame Racing Bike, Reynolds 531
Wheels: Front - Mavic Askium, Rear - Mavic MA3 rims with Campag hub and campag 9 spd cassette
Cranks: Shimano 600 tri colour 167.5 mm (unusual size)
Gear Levers: Campag Veloce 9sp Ergo Shifters
Rear Derailleur: Camp 10sp Veloce (brand new)
Front Derailleur: Shimano non descript
Saddle: Brown leather charge spoon
Pedals: Shimano silver STD
Tyres: Schwalbe Durano Plus
Brakes: Vintage Mafec Centre pull brakes

Other defining features are the band on silver bottel cage, small silver mudguards (more for show than practcality) the vintage centre pull brakes which look odd on an old bike with a new componant set up, ang the band on brake cable adjuster on the down tube. Also there are black tape bands around the top tube and chainstay and a poor touch up of red paint around the seat clamp.
