Bike Description
2010 Raleigh Airlite 100 bike with a Blue and Yellow frame, yellow bottle cage, white handle bar tape (that's a bit dirty from chain grease), continental gatorskin tyres, white San Marco saddle. Has a few chips in the paint on the top tube and the forks. A slight scuff in the leather on the back right corner of the saddle. The bike has light fixtures and phone holder fixtures and a bell zip tied to the handle bars. Helmet also stolen, white grey and black helmet with a light in the back of the helmet.Theft Description
Bike was locked up in the bike racks with many other bicycles in the brick archway next to Bath Spa railway station. When I came back to collect my bike it was missing and I found the bike lock cut open on the floor.Recovery Description
Walked around the city looking at other bike racks. Happened to find my bike unattended somewhere not too far from the city centre! Very happy to have recovered it so quickly. Tip for anyone else, if I had found my bike but it was secured properly I would have added my own D locks on and waited for thief to return, then phone the police and video everything, avoid confrontation if possible.
