Bike Description

Very distinctive high spec touring road bike frame, 56cm, custom paint by Mercian Cycles. Tobacco Pearl (Metallic Brown) with Gold Pearson logos.  After the bike was stolen it was stripped of its high spec parts which were then found to be advertised on Gumtree on Boxying Day 2016 - Fizik carbon bars, Campag Record group-set with carbon shifters, Record Triple cranks, Record carbon rear and front derailleurs, Brooks C17 saddle, Velo Orange Grand Cru brakes, PMP hubs on Ambrosio rims built by Harry Rowland. The police were usless and did nothing to recover anything. The frame is still at large and has never been spotted...it must be out there somewhere.  When it was stolen the frame was in excellent condition as it had only been back on the road for three months since it was resprayed at Mercian. Some folk out there got themselves some high quality parts at way low prices!!  Shame you didn't query why they were so cheap! Thanks for that!
