Bike Description
Our beloved green tank was taken on Sunday 19th June, outside ‘Moxon’s fresh fish’ at Clapham South tube station, London, at some stage between 3:45pm - 4:45pm.It is a lime green Müsing ‘twin-road lite R’ (German brand) hybrid bike with straight handlebars, a frame mounted lock that disables the rear wheel, magnetic front and rear lights which are attached by the quick release skewers, a frame mounted kickstand, a bell and was fitted with ‘race blade’ mud guards on front and back.It had an FW Evans touring saddle, a ‘lifeline’ Garmin out-front mount, and silver Shimano SPD pedals.Front wheel was Mavic, rear wheel was recently replaced and is unbranded.Triple chainring, V-brakes, schwalbe 38mm approx tyres.Whoever took it will at some stage have to cut through this lock as the bike is unrideable whilst the lock is engaged through the rear spokes.Theft Description
Bike was locked using the frame mounted lock that disables the rear wheel by blocking the spokes. It was leant up against a bike rack to the right of Clapham South tube (nightingale lane) facing Clapham Common. At some stage, someone has come along and walked off with it, but they would have had to carry the bike or at least keep the rear wheel off the floor as it wouldn’t roll until the lock was disengaged.
